Then the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program is the ideal choice for you!

It’s 100% 2 Years Work Placement Guaranteed.

In Canada, a continuing care assistant (CCA) is a healthcare professional who provides support and assistance to individuals who are living with chronic illness, disability, or other health-related challenges. CCAs work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community-based organizations.

To become a CCA in Canada, you will need to complete a continuing care assistant program. These programs are typically offered at community colleges and other educational institutions, and typically take 10 months to complete with our partner school in Canada

The curriculum for a CCA program will vary depending on the specific institution, but generally includes a combination of classroom instruction and clinical experience. Coursework may cover topics such as anatomy and physiology, infection control, communication skills, and basic nursing skills. Clinical experience typically includes supervised hands-on training in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or long-term care facility.

Upon completion of a CCA program, you will need to pass a certification exam in order to become a certified CCA in Canada. This exam is administered by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), and once you pass the exam, you will be added to the CNA's Continuing Care Assistant Registry.

To be eligible for a CCA program in Canada, you will typically need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, NECO or WAEC is sufficient to begin the program, and may also need to meet other requirements such as having a criminal record check by doing your Police report.
