In this role, leadership skills are essential to be respected and effective. As a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef you will be responsible of ensuring the brigade is working as one, mentoring across all levels creating a stable and honest working environment. Supporting your Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen, this requires longevity and large team exposure, ability to lead a brigade of chefs with sufficient pace and attention to detail. You are expected to show versatility with your skills and experience working in all sections of professional kitchens, as well as a passion for learning and developing new skills, pushing culinary boundaries to deliver new and unique dishes, and encouraging others to help them grow.
